An armed, distraught man holed up in a Pasadena home for about four hours Monday before surrendering to police.
The 68-year-old suspect barricaded himself about 3:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Medford Road, one block east of Hastings Ranch Drive, according to Pasadena police.

A crisis negotiation team was called in, according to Pasadena police Lt. Vasken Gourdikian.
Police announced about 7:30 p.m. that the man was taken into custody without further incident.
He was armed with a handgun and possibly had access to additional firearms, Gourdikian said.
