A motorcycle officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a crash in Hawthorne Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred about 3:15 p.m. in the area of Inglewood Avenue and 147th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officer, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
The Hawthorne Police Department reported that the officer’s injuries weren’t life-threatening.
