The bodies of a man and a woman in their 80s were found Wednesday in a parked vehicle in the Westwood area, and their shooting deaths were being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide, police said.
The bodies were discovered about 8:45 a.m. in the 500 block of Veteran Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It was not immediately known which person shot the other, police said.
Authorities withheld the names of the pair, pending notification of their relatives.
