The victim was walking north on Flagstone Avenue with another male and a female, when then they were confronted by two suspects as they reached Camino Real Avenue, said Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The shooting appears to be gang related.
“At least one of the suspects shot at the victims before fleeing the scene in a gray Honda,” Navarro-Suarez said. “The other two victims ran from the scene and called 911. They were not injured.”
The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the shooting scene, according to authorities.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives asked anyone with any information regarding the shooting to call them at (323) 890-5500.
