A 36-year-old man was killed and three other motorcycle riders were injured when their bikes collided with a teen boy’s vehicle on a winding stretch of Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades, authorities said Monday.

The dead motorcyclist was David Babalyan of Reseda, according to coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz.

There was no word yet about a cause of the deadly  crash. There was no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision, according to officials, and the investigation was continuing.

The collision occurred about 2 p.m. Sunday at 14710 W. Sunset Blvd. at the intersection with Chautauqua Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Division investigators.

The three injured riders were taken to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries, investigators said.

The 16-year-old boy driving the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
