
A man was attacked by a pit bull Wednesday in Panorama City, police said.
The attack was reported about 3 a.m. in the area of Roscoe Boulevard and Ventura Canyon Avenue, according to Sgt. Jim Bender of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Division.
Bender said responding officers called an ambulance for the man but details of the attack were not immediately available.
NBC4 reported the dog’s owner may have been involved in the attack but police said no arrests were made and the dog has not been found.
