Two men and a woman robbed a man of about $200 in cash outside a Rosemead restaurant, authorities said Friday.

The robbery occurred around 9 p.m. Thursday outside of Jim’s Famous Quarterpound at 8749 Valley Blvd., between Rosemead Boulevard and Walnut Grove Avenue, according to Lt. Ronald Daily of the Sheriff’s Temple Station.

Daily described the crime as a “strong-armed” robbery and said the suspects used force to take the victim’s money before fleeing in a white Dodge Caravan.

The victim suffered injuries but was not taken to a hospital, Daily said.

The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported the suspects struck the victim with a rock during the attack.

The suspects were described as two men in their 20s and a woman in her 40s.
