A dryer oven outside an industrial building in Garden Grove caught fire Thursday, causing about $150,000 in damage, but nobody was hurt, a fire captain said.
The fire broke out about 10:50 a.m. in the 7300 block of Lampson Avenue.
Flames from the dryer oven fire spread to ducting on the interior and exterior of the building, according to Garden Grove Fire Capt. Brad Spell. The oven dries paint applied to containers made at the business, he said.
Employees were filing out on their own as firefighters arrived. It took about 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
