Sheriff’s deputies Sunday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose body was found near a San Jacinto road.
The body was reported at 5:57 a.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of Esplanade Avenue.

Investigators believed that the woman, who was not identified, was a victim of a “motor vehicle related incident,” according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Robert Himmelberg.
