
A fire damaged a business in a strip mall in Studio City, but no one was hurt.
Seventy firefighters sent to the two-story building in the 12200 block of West Ventura Boulevard about 7:45 a.m. extinguished the flames in 57 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The flames damaged both floors of the building, the LAFD reported. Firefighters gained the upper hand on the fire on the first floor in about a half hour, and extinguished the remaining flames in about another half hour.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
