A man suspected of burglarizing a Starbucks coffee shop in Lakewood Thursday morning was caught on the building’s roof.
Someone called authorities about 2:30 a.m. to report seeing someone inside the closed shop in the 8800 block of Alondra Boulevard, prompting a response by deputies, according to a sergeant at the sheriff’s Lakewood Station.
“The guy went in then went up to the roof and we ended up arresting him (on suspicion of) burglary,” Sgt. R. Lavan said.
The man’s name and age were not released.
