
Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire Sunday inside an apartment building in Paramount, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire inside a two-story apartment structure at 7304 E. Richfield St. was reported just before 6 p.m., county fire Dispatch Supervisor Cheryl Sims said.

The fire started on the balcony of one of the apartments and extended inside the building, according to the fire department.
The blaze was knocked down about six minutes after it was reported, Sims said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
