A woman was struck and killed Saturday by a vehicle in Malibu.
The crash was reported at 6:38 a.m. and occurred on Pacific Coast Highway, north of Las Flores Canyon Road, said Sgt. Jeff Del Rio of the sheriff’s Lost Hill/Malibu station.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Del Rio said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the scene at 6:44 a.m. and did not transport anyone to a hospital, a county fire dispatcher said.
A SigAlert was issued at 6:38 a.m. closing all lanes on PCH at Las Flores Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. All lanes of PCH re-opened at 1:20 p.m. according to the City of Malibu Emergency Services.
