
One man was fatally injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday on the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in Lynwood, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was just after 9 a.m. on the eastbound 105 Freeway at Long Beach Boulevard, CHP Officer Stephan Brandt said.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics performed CPR on the deceased man at the scene. he was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to the CHP.
His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Several other people were also taken to hospitals for treatment of injuries, CHP officers said. It’s unclear how many people were injured or what were their conditions.
The crash temporarily shut down all eastbound lanes on the 105 Freeway for a crash investigation, according to the CHP. The CHP issued a SigAlert at 9:21 a.m.
All lanes were finally reopened at 2:35 p.m., Brandt said.
