A man is expected to survive a knife wound from a late night fight on a side street next to a popular movie theater, a police officer said Sunday.
The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Ivar Avenue, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.
That location is just south of Sunset Boulevard, and adjacent to the ArcLight Hollywood movie complex, next to the Cinerama Dome.
Paramedics took the man to an area hospital, where he was expected to survive his stab wound, Eisenman said.
