A vehicle pursued by the California Highway Patrol for speeding crashed into a parked semi-trailer Monday in Compton, authorities said.
There were likely injuries, but no details were yet available.
The pursuit began at 12:36 a.m. at Manville Street and Wilmington Avenue and ended with the crash one minute later at Artesia Boulevard and Acacia Avenue, according to CHP Officer Tony Polizzi.
A news videographer at the scene said three ambulances responded but he was unsure whether all left with patients.
No other details were provided by authorities.
