Multiple people were injured in a five-vehicle crash that left one patient trapped Saturday in Pacoima.
The collision was reported at 3:24 a.m. on the eastbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway at Glenoaks Boulevard, according to Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One patient had to be freed from the wreckage and three ambulances were on scene that transported people to two hospitals, Bastman said, but it wasn’t clear how many people were injured.
The California Highway Patrol closed all eastbound lanes for the investigation and was diverting traffic at San Fernando Road.
