A teenage boy was shot to death Sunday in Duarte.
It occurred about 1:40 a.m. in the 400 block of Shrode Avenue, Deputy Jeffrey Gordon of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene, Gordon said. The victim was 16 years old, according to ABC7 News. His name was withheld pending notification to next of kin.
A motive for the shooting was unknown.
No suspect description was available.
