Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help Sunday in finding a 38-year-old mentally ill man who went missing in Cudahy.
Manuel Aparicio, a resident of La Puente, last was seen about 1 p.m. at a church located in the 4600 block of Clara Street in Cudahy.

Aparicio suffers from schizophrenia and is mentally impaired, according to the sheriff’s department.
Aparicio is Hispanic, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 165 to 170 pounds. authorities said.
He has short black hair, brown eyes and was unshaven.
