A report Friday of a possible burglar inside a home in Saugus prompted sheriff’s deputies to surround the residence.
A witness reported just after 1 p.m. that someone, possibly a burglar, was inside a home on Grovepark Drive, according to the sheriff’s department.
Announcements were made for whomever was inside the home to come out, but no one did, a watch sergeant at the sheriff’s Santa Clarita Valley Station said.
Deputies remained outside the home almost three hours after the investigation began, he said.
