
The Foothill (210) Freeway in Glendora was back to normal Sunday after a horrific crash that killed a man and a woman and backed up traffic for hours.
The deadly collision was on the eastbound Foothill Freeway at Sunflower Avenue, California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio said.
Witnesses told the CHP the crash involved a Honda Civic, a Ford F-250 pickup truck and another sedan and that one vehicle was smashed between two vehicles, Rubio said.
The victims were described as a man in his 20s and a woman in her 70s, he said. Whether they were in the same vehicle or two separate vehicles was not disclosed.
The CHP issued a SigAlert for lanes 3 and 4 of the eastbound Foothill Freeway and the Sunflower off-ramp after the Saturday crash just before 4 p.m.. The lanes and ramp were reopened about 8:20 p.m.
