A man was shot dead on the outskirts of the Westlake District, just west of downtown Los Angeles, a police officer said Sunday.
The shooting attack in the area of Temple and Coronado streets was reported about 8:45 p.m. Saturday and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, said Officer Rosario Herrera of the LAPD‘s Media Relations Section.
A motive for the shooting had yet be established, Herrera said.
No name for the man was immediately released.
