One man was shot and killed Sunday in an apparent gang-related attack in South Los Angeles, authorities said.

The shooting at the intersection of 58th Street and Denker Avenue was reported about 4:20 p.m., LAPD Sgt. Thomas Bojorquez said.

“It was an apparent drive-by and likely gang-related,” Bojorquez said.

The victim died at the scene. His identity was withheld pending notification of kin.

There was no suspect information, Bojorquez said.
