A pedestrian was struck by a big rig and killed Friday in Palmdale.
The man, in his 60s, died at the scene of his injury, which occurred about 6:40 a.m. in the 900 block of East Palmdale Boulevard, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.
Authorities withheld the man’s name, pending notification of kin. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
