City firefighters were attacking a brushfire burning in Lincoln Heights Tuesday evening, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire near 3524 N. Emma St. was reported at 8:11 p.m., fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.

The blaze has torched about two acres as of 8:30 p.m., Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported and no structures were threatened.
