A man was shot and wounded Tuesday in a deputy-involved shooting in Palmdale.
The shooting took place just before 2 p.m. in the 1600 block of Avenue Q-10, according to Deputy Lisa Jansen of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man who was shot was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital for treatment, Jansen said.
His condition was unknown.
The sheriff’s department has not released any details about the shooting, the victim, or what precipitated the DIS.
