Two men were killed Wednesday when a vehicle crashed into a car in Koreatown.
A man and a woman, both 50, were standing behind their car about 3 p.m. in the 700 block of South Hobart Boulevard, near Wilshire Boulevard, when it was struck by another vehicle, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The man suffered a “severe traumatic injury to (a) lower extremity” and was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital. A 60-year-old man in the second vehicle was also taken to a hospital, where he too was pronounced dead, officials said.
The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized in fair condition. Another person who was in the vehicle with the 60-year-old man was evaluated at the scene, but declined to be taken to a hospital, Stewart said.
