A man was shot and killed Wednesday in an officer-involved shooting in San Fernando.
The shooting occurred a little after 5:30 p.m. in the 12900 block of Foothill Boulevard, said Deputy Lisa Jansen of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he later died from his gunshot wound, Jansen said.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives asked anyone with any information regarding the shooting to call them at (323) 890-5500.
