A man held up a south Whittier pizza parlor at gunpoint but no one was injured.

The robbery was reported around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Double or Nothing Pizza at 15010 Mulberry Drive, said sheriff’s Lt. Robin Limon of the Norwalk Station.

The suspect demanded money from the employee and when the employee was hesitant, the robber lifted his shirt to show the employee a gun in his waistband, Limon said.

The employee handed over an unknown amount of cash from the register and the suspect fled on foot, last seen northbound on La Mirada Boulevard, Limon said.

The suspect was described as in his 30s and wearing a gray T-shirt and shorts.
