Police Tuesday were investigating the possible murder of a woman whose body was found in a leafy, quiet Reseda park.

It wasn’t disclosed by authorities who it was that discovered the body, nor if any children may have been been involved on a warm summer morning.

The body was found between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Monday when officers responded to a report of a woman down in the park on Reseda Boulevard near Victory Boulevard, LAPD Officer Isaac Gomez told the Los Angeles Daily News.

Valley Bureau Homicide Detective Bob Dinlocker told the newspaper the death was being treated as a homicide.

The woman appeared to be in her 20s or 30s, he said.

The coroner’s office was investigating her cause and manner of death. No other details were immediately available, including her identity.
