A 2-year-old boy was found walking on a street in the North Hills area Monday, and his father later contacted police and was being interviewed.
The boy was found about 6 a.m. near Van Nuys Boulevard and Woodman Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police released a photo and description of the boy and sought public help to identify him. Late Monday morning, the boy’s father contacted police, and he was being interviewed at the LAPD’s Mission Station, a detective said.
