Two people were killed Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the 118 freeway in Simi Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The CHP said the accident involved three vehicles in the westbound lanes of the freeway just west of Stearns Street.
When officers arrived at 4:10 a.m. they found one car overturned and pronounced two victims dead at the scene.
The westbound freeway was closed, and the accident remains under investigation.
