Two men were killed Saturday afternoon in a shooting in Compton, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department reported.
The shooting was reported at 4:05 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Long Beach Boulevard, Deputy Joana Warren of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said. The location is a commercial street less than a mile northwest of the 91 and 710 freeway intersection.
“Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene,” Warren said.
No suspect information was available, she said, and the crime remains under active investigation.
