Authorities Thursday sought public help to find a convicted robber who walked away from a Los Angeles area re-entry facility a month before he was scheduled for parole.
David Taylor, 38, walked away from the Male Community Reentry Program facility after removing his electronic monitoring device about 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Taylor had been in the custody of the CDCR since May 30, 2012, after he was sentenced in Los Angeles County to a six-year term for second-degree robbery.
Taylor was transferred to the Los Angeles re-entry facility in April, and had been scheduled to be released to parole supervision in September.
Anyone seeing him, or who has knowledge of his whereabouts, was urged to call local law enforcement or 911.
