One homeless man was killed Friday and another was arrested following a fight over property that turned deadly in Sun Valley, police said.

Officers located the victim after being called about 11 a.m. to the Lankershim Boulevard off-ramp of the Golden State (5) Freeway, detectives at the scene said.

Witnesses said the argument was over some property belonging to the victim, LAPD Lt. Mike Kozak told NBC4.

The suspect would be booked on suspicion of murder, Kozak said.

Police said he is about 30 years old.

Neither the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, nor the suspect was immediately identified.
