One man was shot dead and three other men were wounded in a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting in South Los Angeles, a police officer said Sunday.
The shooting attack occurred a little after 7:15 p.m. Saturday in the area of 25th Street and La Salle Avenue, said Officer Tony Im of the LAPD‘s Media Relation Section.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic male, was driving eastbound on 25th Street from La Salle Avenue when he opened fired on the victims who were in a vehicle stopped westbound on 25th Street, Im said.
One victim, a 20-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed three other shooting victims, also in their 20s, to an area hospital, where their conditions were not immediately known, he said.
Police did not release any description of the suspect’s vehicle. A motive for the shooting attack was not immediately known.
