A fire broke out at an Atwater Village recycling facility.
The fire, which was completely outside, was reported Friday night in the 4500 block of Doran Street, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No structures were threatened and the fire was quickly knocked down, Stewart said.
The Glendale Fire Department sent units to assist Los Angeles firefighters as both departments contended with a large and fast-moving brush fire in Sun Valley.
No injuries were reported.
