A second-alarm fire Saturday at a two-story home in Pasadena caused more than $1 million worth of damage to the structure and its contents.

Two firefighters battling the fire at 30 W. Mountain St. were evaluated at the scene and released, said Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department.

Firefighters dispatched to the location at 2:32 a.m. had the fire out at 4:02 a.m., Derderian said.

The fire caused $1.4 million in damage to the structure and $50,000 damage to its contents, she said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
