A man was shot and wounded in an apparent robbery at a Woodland Hills apartment complex, police said Friday.

The shooting was reported at 10:09 p.m. Thursday in the 21200 block of Erwin Street, said Monica Fairbanks of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Topanga Division.

The victim was shot once in an armpit and taken to a hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury, Fairbanks said. The victim, who Fairbanks said is not cooperating in the investigation, may have known the suspects, she said.

Surveillance video showed the suspects, a male and a female, took the victim’s watch and other personal items, Fairbanks said.
