The coroner’s office Sunday publicly identified two of the three people who died in a grisly crash Saturday on the Riverside (60) Freeway in Jurupa Valley.
Hemet residents Jose Perez, 27, and Omar Arambula, 24, were among the three people in a Honda Accord that lost control, hit the center divider and was then slammed into by an eastbound Ford Fusion around 3:30 a.m.
The impact caused one of the Honda’s passengers to be thrown over the center divider into westbound lanes, where he was stuck by multiple vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol. It’s not immediately clear how the two others died.
The third Honda victim has not been publicly identified by the coroner’s office.
The driver of the Ford, Victor M. Tyler, 27, of Redlands was hospitalized with minor injuries to his arms.
