A man was in custody Monday for allegedly killing another man in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles over the weekend, police said.

Pablo Arizpe, 37, arrested on Sunday, was booked on suspicion of murder in the crime, which occurred about 9:30 p.m. Saturday to the 800 block of North Fairfax Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No court date was set.   The victim, in his 40s, had suffered “unknown trauma to his neck and throat” and died at the scene, the LAPD reported. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives. An autopsy was pending.
