A woman was killed Saturday when her vehicle overturned in an unincorporated area near Lancaster, authorities said.
It was reported at 4:53 p.m. at 110th Street East and East Avenue J, California Highway Patrol Officer Stephan Brandt said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to Brandt.
The woman, believed in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
A SigAlert was issued at 5:25 p.m. shutting down the intersection for the investigation.
It was reopened about 8:15 p.m.
