Police Thursday sought the public’s help in identifying two suspects who stole items worth nearly $3,000 from a Harbor City apartment.
The suspects, who were recorded on security video, smashed a rear patio door about 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 to gain access to the apartment in the 1500 block of Pacific Coast Highway, near South Figueroa Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“They removed jewelry and other items with an approximate value of $2,800,” according to a police statement.
Both suspects are black men who appeared to be in their 20s. They are about 5 feet 7 inches tall, around 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
One, who was armed with a handgun, wore a dark colored security polo shirt with an emblem on the front and the word “Security” in white letters on the back. The other was wearing a white tank top.
