Authorities Monday identified a 34-year-old Colton man who was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash near the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Monterey Park.
The crash took place just off the southbound 710 Freeway, north of Floral Drive, at 11:10 p.m. Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
James Davis died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office, and the CHP.
Davis was driving a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and apparently had just exited the 710 Freeway when the vehicle rolled over on a nearby street, according to the CHP. He was the lone occupant of the vehicle, the CHP reported.
