Police Thursday sought public help to find a young man who went missing in the Sylmar area and whose family believes he may harm himself.
Matthew Hurtado, 18, was last seen about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 13400 block of Bradley Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
“Matthew’s family is concerned for his safety because he is suicidal,” according to an LAPD statement.
Matthew is Hispanic, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and black baseball cap.
