Authorities Monday identified a young man who was fatally shot in South Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred about 8:45 p.m. Friday in the 4800 block of Grand Avenue, said to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department’s media relations office.
Jose Cruz Jr., 18, of Los Angeles died at a hospital, the coroner’s office reported. No suspect description was released.
