A person suffered fatal injuries Monday when he jumped from the Orange (57) Freeway in Pomona and landed on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway below, authorities said.
The apparent suicide occurred about 4:15 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two westbound lanes of the San Bernardino Freeway were closed and a SigAlert was issued, according to the CHP.
