Authorities Tuesday asked the public for help in identifying the killer of a 24-year-old woman in Reseda over the weekend.

The victim was in the passenger seat of a vehicle when the killer snuck up on foot and shot her.

Police did not speculate about a possible motive for the ambush slaying.

Around 11 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 19500 block of Enadia Way, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

Christina Andrade of Chatsworth died at a hospital about 1 a.m. Sunday, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

The investigation revealed that Andrade was in the passenger seat of a vehicle at the intersection of Sherman Way and Calvin Street when she was gunned down by an assailant who approached the vehicle on foot, police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to call LAPD Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives at (818) 374-9550.
