Authorities conducted an arson investigation Wednesday morning after they said someone set a fire in a strip mall in Pacoima.
The fire was reported about 3:30 a.m. in the area of Remick Avenue and Osborne Street, according to an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division. It was extinguished by the Los Angeles Fire Department, and no injuries were immediately reported.
The fire was set after a burglary alarm went off at the strip mall, a news photographer reported from the scene.
There was no immediate estimate of damage, nor was the word of any possible suspect or motive.
