
Police Wednesday sought the public’s help in identifying a suspect who sexually assaulted three women in separate attacks in South Los Angeles.
The crimes occurred in May, August and September, after the suspect picked the victims up in his vehicle in the area of Western Avenue and 51st Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“The suspect takes the victims to a secluded location, sexually assaults them and then releases them,” according to an LAPD statement.
The suspect is a “stocky” black male who stands 5-feet-9 inches to 6- feet-1 inch tall and was driving an older-model black pickup truck.
Detectives have few leads and urged anyone with information that could help them track down the suspect to call (213) 486-6910 to speak with Detective Dan Aguirre or Detective Dara Brown.
